Extreme Heat: Affected Classes at Wonder Dogs
There is a heat advisory in effect for Corvallis from Monday 7/25 @ 12pm to Thursday 7/28 @ 9pm. We understand that heat may affect our human and canine students.
Here are our recommendations and flexible options for those who may need alternatives this week:
Students MUST bring a water bottle and bowl for their dog this week.
Pools will be provided to allow dogs to cool off after class.
Students must provide their own towels to keep our facility tidy.
We anticipate that our most affected classes will be 4:30pm & 6pm classes, but any student who cannot attend this week:
may attend their group class via zoom. Follow THIS LINK to do so.
may attend a free study hall instead.
Students must pre-register.
Use promo code STUDYHALL for a 100% discount.
Volunteer class assistants will closely monitor outside temperature.
Fans and roller door will be used to cool the building.
We will not ask dogs to engage in any activity that will increase their body temperature.
We will take 3-4 water breaks during classes.
We understand that dog training is a balance of consistency and the fact that life happens!! Thank you for your understanding and commitment to positive reinforcement training.
Please let us know if you have any additional concerns and we will try to address them as best we can.
Warmly,
The Team at Wonder Dogs:
Jenn, Lisa, Bridget, Ashley, Suzanne & Delaney
