Julie Flanery

BS, CPDT-KA, RFE-CI

Sports Trainer

Julie has been working with dogs and their owners since 1995. She is certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, is a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and is a highly sought after instructor at Fenzi Dog Sports Academy, an online school for dog sport trainers.

Julie prides herself on staying educated on current advances in training and behavior and has placed Obedience, Rally, Agility, Rally-FrEe, Musical Freestyle and Heelwork-to-Music titles on her dogs. She has earned a Grand Championship with distinction in Rally-FrEe,  and Championships in Freestyle and Heelwork to Music. Julie continues to compete and perform at public demonstrations.

She has been an invited seminar and workshop presenter nationally and internationally. In 2001 Julie was named “Trainer of the Year” by the World Canine Freestyle Organization and has been a freestyle judge since 2003. Julie has appeared on television, radio, and in several news and magazine articles sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge of canine behavior and training.
